Battle of Wilson's Store
and
Historic Latta Plantation
 

7am:     Leave from Asheboro
8am:     Breakfast Stop at Cracker Barrel
11am:   Arrive at Wilson's Store site, Waxhaw, NC,
            tour museum, site and watch the reenactment
1pm:     Lunch
2:30:     Arrive at Latta Plantation, tour buildings &
             museum 
5pm:     Drive back to Asheboro, stopping for supper
             along the way.  Expected arrival in Asheboro
             around 8:30pm
 

Appomattox Court House

7am:     Leave from Pittsboro, late breakfast/early lunch
            stop along the way
11am:   Arrive at Appomattox Court House.
            ($4 per person)   It is recommended that 3-4
             hours be spent to see the entire site so we will
             take our time and enjoy the visit
3pm:     Drive back to Pittsboro, stopping for an early
            supper along the way. 
7pm:     Estimated arrival back in Pittsboro

              House
Noon:      Lunch

              Tredegar operated by the National Park
              Service
5pm:      Drive home stopping for supper along the
              way.  Approximate arrival in Pittsboro
              around 9pm

             Located in the same building.  Experienced
             Allred genealogy researchers will be on hand  
             to help guide your search.
Noon:   Lunch
1:30:     Archives & Library again
Optional Activities:  Within one block (easy walk) is:
             NC Museum of History, NC Museum of
             Natural Science, NC General Assembly,
             the State Capital and Governor's Mansion.
5pm:     Everything closes and we head back to
             Pittsboro
