Greetings family and friends,
We apologize for the past couple of weeks of
having the
Allred Family Roster site down as we had no
choice but to move to
another hosting company.
Our previous hosting company could not support the
huge amount of traffic that our server was
receiving. Not only can our
new host handle the additional required bandwidth,
but they have the capacity to handle more should
our server ever require it.
As well as moving to a new host, we were forced to
upgrade to the new version of the software that
runs the
Allred Family Roster site.
We have been fortunate enough over the years that
we have not had to upgrade the software, but
circumstances beyond our control have
forced us to do so.
We have been granted a 45 day trial license
that started on June 3rd and will expire on July
18th. When the software does expire, the
site will stop working and will continue to do so
till such a time as we can afford a software
license.
We are asking our family and friends for donations
so that we can continue to keep the site running
for future generations to be able
to enjoy the site as we all have over the years.
A yearly donation of $5, $10, $15, or more would
not only help pay for the hosting of the site, but
also help pay for other expenses of
the site such as the now required software upgrade
and any increase in bandwidth usage charges that
the server may incur.
We would like to take this time to thank everybody
who has supported the site in the past, and thank
those of you who will be supporting
the site this year.
